| The Lyricist by P.F. Busch Amazon, BN, Booklocker, |
 |
Paige La Reine is an embedded journalist who is drawn into a clandestine war mission with a mysterious and captivating Commander.
Under the guise of a romance, The Lyricist, explores many passionate contemporary themes, including the crippling, devastating effects of obsessive-compulsive disorder on the professional and emotional states of an individual. It explores the hollow lives that many of our politicians exist for, placing power and ambitions above all, including their family and their integrity. It further explores the reasons why men and women who appear to have it all—intellectual brilliance, money, fame and good looks, search for adventure and danger to assuage their inner demons. And finally, it brings forward the power that love has over an individual and demonstrates how passion drives one's action. www.THELYRICIST-PFBUSCH.com

Molière than Thou
Tim Mooney is in his seventh year of touring with Molière than Thou, having introduced over fifty thousand people to Molière! His one-man show, with audience participation, is an anthology of his own translated scenes from Molière's classic, still hilarious, witty and relevant comedies. In typical 17th century curled wigs and costume, he changes both character and personality by adding a tie or shedding a jacket. Mooney gives the setting and theme of each selected play (The Misanthrope, The School for Wives, The Bourgeois Gentleman, Sganarelle or the Imaginary Cuckold, Tartuffe, Don Juan or the Stone Guest, The Docter in spite of Himself, The Imaginary Invalid, The Schemings of Scapin, and The Precious Young Maidens), before assuming its principal role. Presented in rhyming verse, Molière has never been more accessible.
